Tomorrow, October 17th is Picture Day! 

                               

This morning we read a new book, LMNO peas, that took us through the alphabet and we recognized letters and words that begin with each letter.

Ask me what it means to be unique!

We talked about patterns and the different ways to read them (other than using their colour names). 

Are you wearing a pattern or can you see a pattern around you? 

How can we read the pattern, think using different letters (AB AB...)

We visited our new Kindergarten room today and throughout the year we'll be going back and forth with Mrs. Malik and Ms. Anderson.  We read the book Knuffle Bunny Too because we will be sharing the two rooms and now we have two teachers, lucky us!

In the morning, we found our guppy at the bottom of our fish tank.

It is still moving and we hope it survives!

 Tomorrow we will get to stay in Room 8 and Room 3 and when we get back together we will have
 lots of new stories to share with each other.

Some Reminders:

Pizza Forms sent home. We will be ordering pizza lunch on Oct 21st from Pizza 73. Students will have 4 kinds of pizza to choose from.  The cost of this lunch will be $ 6. All orders and money must be into school no later than Tuesday morning of Oct 21st.

sponsored by 'Meals on Wheels'

Hot soup forms were sent home earlier this week. If you wish to have your child participate in this program please fill out the form sent home and return at your earliest convience. This program is offered to those students who stay at school for lunch.
